The British actor Jeremy Bulloch, the impersonator of Boba Fett in Star Wars movies died.
A 75-year-old actor with long-standing Parkinson’s disease fell asleep peacefully at a London hospital with his family on Thursday, according to a statement on his website.
The short-spoken warrior and bounty hunter, a character who became very popular among Star Wars fans, was first played by Boba Fett in Bulloch in 1980 in The Empire Strikes Back and then in the 1983 episode The Return of the Jedi. In 2005, Revenge of the Sith, he played a minor role, playing Captain Colton.
Bulloch has also appeared in James Bond films such as The Spy Who Loved Me and Octopus, as well as appearing in television series such as Doctor Who, Aristocrats, Doctors.
Also dead in late November is David Prowse, who personified Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy. Both characters became superstars in the world’s most popular film series in a way that the face of the actor behind the mask wasn’t even known to most fans.
